Exclusive: WWE make Major change to Hall of Fame Ceremony

This year’s Hall of Fame ceremony will be different to previous years, with significant time limit restrictions on speeches to prevent a long unwanted over-run.

According to our source, the induction speeches will now be reduced to 5 minutes, with the Hall of Famers allocated 20 minutes to conclude their acceptance speeches.

The Superstars themselves, most of whom have to wrestle the next day, have been very vocal about the annual over-run, often resulting in the show going 90-120 over the alloted time. The new format is likely to make the Hall of Fame a more watchable event and it’s also less likely to lead to any more guys falling asleep during the show.
