Daniel Bryan made MAJOR error on SmackDown

The Dirty Sheets can exclusively reveal that Daniel Bryan was responsible for a major error on SmackDown Live this past Tuesday.

Bryan announced that AJ Styles would defend his WWE Championship in a Handicap Match at the Royal Rumble, after Styles had suggested he be put in a Handicap Match against Zayn and Owens, based on the fact the pair always interfere in matches.

Whilst Styles’ line was scripted, Bryan’s Handicap Match line was NOT. Bryan seemingly lost focus during his announcement and simply repeated what Styles had suggested, rather than booking a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH for the Rumble.

The Dirty Sheets were informed of the error on Thursday and have had it confirmed by another source over the weekend. The WWE will now need to undo the error and explain how the rules of the match will work. We are told that they may go down the route of having Co-WWE Champions, something that was done back in 2000, when Chris Jericho and Chyna were the Co-WWE Intercontinental Champions. However, they could also make the decision to make Kevin Owens the designated Champion if they win or change the match into a Triple Threat Match, as originally planned.

  1. Bryan is going to leave WWE when his contract is up. I’m pretty sure of that. And even if WWE does turn him a full heel it’s not going to impact him in any manner outside WWE. We will not see him wrestle in the WWE for sure.
