The current plan for Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania is for Rousey to be involved with Stephanie McMahon (possibly in a Mixed Tag) and not Charlotte Flair. The WWE are looking to hold off the Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey match, as Rousey will be signing a multi-match deal. This gives Rousey time to improve in the ring and opens to door for the match against Charlotte Flair to actually Main Event a future PPV. However, things could change if Rousey turns out to be an exceptionally quick learner.
Our sources have told us that the company have discussed doing Ronda Rousey vs Stephanie McMahon, in a short squash match, however, they are currently leaning towards doing Ronda Rousey and Braun Strowman vs Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, in a Mixed Tag Match.
The originally planned Horsewomen vs Horsewomen match is now completely off the table, and the women were informed about the change of plans last week. This is what probably lead to this tweet by Bayley, upon learning that the WWE were likely to go with something involving Stephanie McMahon and Rousey.
I’m starting to see a pattern now.
