Multiple media sources reported that Ronda Rousey had signed a full-time contract with the WWE. This could be an oversight by the WWE, who previously misused the terms “Birdseye view” and the word “Anniversary.” It’s possible that the WWE used the term “full-time” where they meant to use the word “exclusive,” however, this is highly unlikely.
We believe the WWE deliberately released the wrong information to make the signing of Rousey appear more grandiose than it is. Rousey has not signed a full-time WWE contract. Whilst Rousey is now an exclusive WWE talent, she will certainly not be appearing on a full-time basis, which would include house shows, overseas tours and weekly WWE TV. Our sources have indicated to us that contract isn’t anywhere near a full-time deal, and that Rousey’s deal is similar to Brock Lesnar’s current deal, but greatly exceeds the original deal signed by Lesnar in 2012.
