Hot Take: Is Roman Reigns deluded about why he’s booed?

During a recent interview with the terrible and Peter Rosenberg, Roman Reigns gave a very delusional take about why he is booed by fans:

“I think there is a lot of different things you can chalk it up to I’m sure. In life, everyone wants to see you do good, but not too good, you know what I mean? Once you pass that threshold of doing really well for major success, then I think the questions, possible jealousy come out and that is when negativity starts showing its face, but if you are strong in your convictions and know who you are, you have to be bulletproof to that.”

Reigns continued to defend the booing:

  • “I think it is still a very strong reaction. I have always been that way though. Before anyone knew who I was, I’m either the type of person, which I don’t know if it’s because of how I carry myself, how I talk, but you either like me or you don’t- there is not much gray area with me. You’re either with me, or you don’t like me.”

So it absolutely isn’t anything to do with the WWE shoving him down our throats for years, the fact he has been mostly horrible at promos and the fact he has no shown character development in 5 years, so much so, that we are about to get the same WrestleMania Main Event we had 3 years ago, just to re-crown him, and he STILL hasn’t got himself any closer to being over?

According to Roman it’s none of these things. It’s because people are jealous and don’t want to see anyone do that well.

Ok then Roman. That’s pretty funny, seeing as your very own cousin is the biggest movie star in the world and the fans continue to love and support him. Ok Roman.

  1. Roman’s real life narcissism coupled with the coddling by the powers that be, behind the scene pumping up hig ego, wont let him believe it’s his fault. So the blame is deflected.
