Exclusive: Cage match to be announced for Extreme Rules

With Extreme Rules just 2 weeks a away, the WWE have only announced one gimmick match for the PPV- that being Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jaxx, under Extreme Rules.

However, our sources have informed us that, Braun Strowman vs Kevin Owens in a “Steel Cage” match, is likely to be added in the next week. The company may have set that match up last night, with Owens getting himself deliberately counted out in his match against Braun.

Exclusive: Did Daniel Bryan cost Miz the Money in the Bank?

As we previously reported on Patreon, way back on May 20th, Braun Strowman was the original choice the win the Money in the Bank match- with the cash in set to happen ON THE NIGHT, after a Lesnar vs Reigns rematch at Money in the Bank.

However, the WWE then opted to change course, not book Lesnar vs Reigns at Money in the Bank and to go with The Miz instead. However, a Miz victory was always conditional on IF they could tie Daniel Bryan down to a new deal- with the plan being to hold off The Miz vs Daniel Bryan until WrestleMania 35, and to do a Triple-Threat between Lesnar vs Reigns vs Strowman at SummerSlam.

Unfortunately, as Dirty Sheets patrons will be aware of, Daniel Bryan has yet to put pen-to-paper, forcing the WWE to go back to their original plan, and giving the win to Strowman. Strowman is now expected to cash in at SummerSlam.

Exclusive: Major rumour killer regarding Braun Strowman

Ever since WrestleMania, there have been many rumours circulating regarding plans for Braun Strowman’s original partner at WrestleMania.

Going into the show, many people expected Bray Wyatt to be Strowman’s partner, after the two posted a photo together on a plane, days before WrestleMania, which fooled a lot of fake news journalists into reporting Wyatt was actually the partner. However, Justin Barrasso, the biggest clown of them all, remained consistent with his narrative that Rey Mysterio would be appearing at WrestleMania- and that he would be Strowman’s partner.

Most recently, clickbait garbage website, Give Me Sport, chipped in with their fictitious version of what was “meant to happen,” when they stated that Strowman’s partner was meant to be Bobby Lashley- simply because the pair have been teaming up lately.

The Dirty Sheets can reveal that all of the above, are complete and utter garbage!!

As The Dirty Sheets exclusively reported from DAY ONE, via our Patreon page (Patreon.com/TheDirtySheets), the plan was for Braun Strowman to look super strong on the grandest stage of them all, and single-handily win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships. According to our sources, MAJOR NAMES, were NEVER discussed as this was NOT the story the company were telling!

Leading into WrestleMania, the likes of Curt Hawkins, James Ellsworth and Michael Cole were discussed, however, the company eventually went with the more unique idea of having 10 year old, Nicholas, and Strowman winning the titles.

Exclusive: News on Strowman’s potential partner and Mixed Match info & “SPOILER”

We have received information that Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss, known as Team Little Big, could be continuing their association with one another, despite their Mixed Match exit.

Our sources have revealed that the WWE are producing some Little Big merchandise, and have even had the pair film an episode of Ride Along together, that won’t air until AFTER WrestleMania.

This may be an indication that Alexa Bliss could be chosen as Strowman’s partner after her loss to Nia Jaxx. Although, I’m still personally in favour of Curt Hawkins. Meh.

Additionally, we have also been told about a range of Mattel figures, that will feature pairings from the Mixed Match Challenge, which will include a Team Little Big pack.

The Mixed Match Challenge will conclude next week, with Miz and Asuka set to emerge victorious, as we reported at the start of the tournament. When they win, our $40 Patrons will land $750 from our betting tip.

Exclusive: What happened to Ziggler vs Shane McMahon?

As we reported on our Fastlane podcast, Dolph Ziggler vs Shane McMahon was scrapped over the weekend.

We did NOT report this via a news article, because we wanted to allow Brad Shepard to look like the news stealing moron that he is. Shepard stole our news from Patreon, which against the T & Cs of Patreon, and had himself credited with breaking the story by multiple sources. You can see the dates, below:

You also see that we mentioned sitting on the story at the beginning of the story, based on the fact our source told us to tread carefully, because the WWE only came up with the Ziggler vs Shane idea on the fly last Tuesday.

The WWE then proceeded to book last Tuesday’s show with the mindset that this match was happening. This was clearly the direction, given the fact that Ziggler was:

  • Playing a heel out of the blue, when he confronted AJ Styles and attacked the fans, after being booked as a face since his return.
  • Mentioning himself never having a one vs one match at WrestleMania and that it was a joke.
  • Blaming WWE management for holding him down on TV and on social media, where he uploaded videos, as heel, alluding to his issues.

Why plans changed? Because Braun is the priority and so is Raw.

Plans changed over the weekend, when Vince McMahon decided that Braun Strowman was going to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles by himself, viewing that as the best idea pitched for Strowman for WrestleMania. With Strowman and Raw the priority, and at the top of the totem pole, it had a negative effect on Dolph Ziggler, who is unfortunately, still very low on the totem pole.

The original plan was for Owens and Zayn to move to Raw to face The Bar. That’s who the spot was being left open for. This would’ve left the door open for Ziggler vs Shane. This would have left Braun Strowman facing Kane in a Casket match- a idea Vince McMahon was happy to go with, given the Strowman-Kane feud hasn’t ever been blown off and McMahon’s genuine love for Glenn Jacobs.

Owens and Zayn would’ve ended up on Raw by being fired from SmackDown by Shane McMahon. The plan was for Owens and Zayn to complain about being screwed at Fastlane and for Daniel Bryan to agree and put them in a tag match vs Styles and Nakamura. Bryan would add the stipulation that, if they won, they would be added to Nakamura vs Styles and it would be a Fatal 4 way. Shane would add the stipulation that if they lost, they would be fired from SmackDown. They would of course, lose and be fired. Incidentally, the Styles and Nakamura vs Owens and Zayn tag match, is still slated to take place this Friday at MSG. Read into that what you will.

Therefore, with Braun taking on The Bar, you could not move on to Ziggler vs Shane, whilst Owens and Zayn remained on the brand in the midst of a feud with Shane McMahon. Rather than randomly starting a new feud, the only thing that made sense was to blow-off the Shane McMahon/Owens/Zayn feud at WrestleMania, with the door still open for Daniel Bryan to partner up with Shane, if he decides to do so. As we previously reported, Bryan initially turned down the role as it involved standing on the apron and doing very little, until the finish. It would be similar to how the WWE plan to book Ronda Rousey’s in her Mixed Tag match.

Meanwhile, Dolph Ziggler, who was left off TV last night, looks to be left out of in the cold- not for the first time in his career. However, as Dolph did just recently sign a new contract with certain guarantees and given that he’s hugely popular with WWE’s sponsors, one of the main reasons WWE re-signed him, it’ll be very interesting to see how things develop.
